Welcome to our AI Care Companions, a software application provided by The Evidence Company Ltd.(“we”, “our”, or “us”), a company registered in the United Kingdom (Company Number: 16073698).
 

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the AI Care Companions if you reside in the European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland, or the United Kingdom.

 

By using the AI Care Companions (“user”, “you”, or “your”), you confirm that you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept these Terms, please do not use the application.
 

 

 

1. Acceptance of Terms
 

By accessing or using the AI Care Companions, you confirm that:

2. Our Services
 

The AI Care Companions check-in on patients using either a voice or text conversation on a responsive web application. These AI Companions deliver personalised responses to patient queries, capture relevant patient information, support pre-assessment processes, answer common questions and conduct readiness checks. 

 

Each conversation is fully transcribed, summarised, and - where patient concerns are identified - flagged to the clinical team via a dedicated web interface.

Please note:

  • The AI Care Companions is not a diagnostic or clinical decision support tool.

  • It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

  • It should never replace consultation with a qualified healthcare professional.

  • Clinicians using the service must exercise independent professional judgment in all clinical decision-making.

We strive to ensure that all information is accurate and current, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be complete, error-free, or suited to every situation.

We may update, modify, or discontinue parts of the application at our discretion and without prior notice.

 

 

3. Your Responsibilities

When using the AI Care Companions, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration and use.

  • Use the application lawfully and in accordance with these Terms.

  • Refrain from using the application for unlawful, harmful, or unauthorised purposes, including transmitting viruses or attempting to gain unauthorised access.

You are granted a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the application for personal, non-commercial purposes.

  • Reverse-engineer or tamper with the application’s software.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the service will be error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Evidence Company Ltd. is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the application.
